Bruce is a Web Evangelist for the Opera browser where he works to promote Open Standards across the Web. He's currently obsessed with how the Web can improve the lives of people with disbilities and in developing countries. He's been involved in promoting Web Standards since 2001, and works with the Web Standards Project. He co-wrote the industry bible on Web accessibility and is currently on the committee drafting the forthcoming British Standard for commissioning accessible websites.
His favorite Spice Girl is "Standards Spice". He once teased a man in Reno, just to watch him cry.
