Rufus Evison has been a serial entrepreneur for the last 20 years. His notable companies have included co-founding Cambridge Trishaws, the first bicycle taxi firm in London, Green Cathedral, a new media house in the UK top 25 and Clickstream Technologies PLC who are currently working on providing up-sell opportunities for hosting companies.
He's been in Web Analytics since 1996 with a proven record of strategic and tactical direction from initial concept through to profitability based on strong commercial awareness and technical expertise. He's been involved in the leading edge of Web Analytics, defining the industry standards with the WAA in the USA and with ABCe in Europe/UK.
He's been a C-level executive of companies such as Clickstream Technologies, Global Diagnostics and Green Cathedral. On a technical note he was the creator of the first hybrid mechanism for data gathering as well as what was possibly the earliest of the "if you are buying this you might also like that" cross-sell engines. Currently he's is working for data insight company dunnhumby, helping the retail experts to apply their knowledge and expertise throughout the digital arena.
