Hi Gavin,

Unfortunately the you'll need to calculate the number of conversions a campaign generated by multiplying the conversion rate by the number of visits. There is a grease monkey script out there that will do the multiplication for you. You can find it at www.roirevolution.com/blog.

Hope that helps,

One thing I still can't work out is how to tell how many goals a campaign generated. I can see percentages but I want to know actual figures as in numbers.

I also noticed in the screenshots you have e-commerce tab. Is this only shown if you assign dollar values to a goal?

Great article - like the bit for tracking email campaigns using the variables in the query string. Does anyone know the maximum number of goals that can be set up in Google analytics?

Dan,

Google Analytics has a number of reports re: the visitor's environment. They are located in the Visitors > Browser Capabilities section.

Hope that helps,

Does anyone know how to do this. I want to know how many people in IE are using 1024 X 768 screen size. Can Analytics do this? It seems as though my nav is broken in IE 6 and below at 1024 X 768 and I just want to know how many visitors are affected by this.

Thanks

Great article! I've been putting off delving into these areas of google analytics for want of time - now I'm keen to re-engage.

I have found it a very powerful and useful tool. It can save newbie webmasters lots of time in the long run, so it's worth getting your head round.

Google Analytics is great. I'd also highly recommend using the tools at Compete.com. They are great for planning online marketing and advertising campaign.
