  1. Thomas got started with AJAX when they started thinking about building Fluxiom
  2. Scriptaculous was created because there wasn’t one integrated powerful JavaScript solution
  3. Scriptaculous has autocompletion, in-place editor, drag-and-drop and visual effects

  5. Scriptaculous 1.5 will have more new features (came out in Dec)
  6. Thomas wants to do a “Scriptaculous Light” version

  10. Thomas is on the core team for Ruby on Rails and he feels it really “hits the nail on the head” for most web developers
